Meet our Team
Brett Barker, Executive Director
Brett started in healthcare over 20 years ago as a volunteer in a skilled nursing facility. Over the years, he has worked in many different roles and has witnessed firsthand the compassion and kindness of the associates in assisted living and truly admired their work and dedication. Brett’s favorite part of being an Executive Director is having the opportunity to enrich the lives of residents and his team every single day. Brett and his wife, Becky, have two grown children. Their son, Austin, is currently serving in the army and their daughter, Ashley, lives in Maui with her husband and four children. In their spare time, Brett & Becky enjoy spending time at the beach, cooking together, exercising and playing video games online with their grandkids.
Samantha Juarez, Community Relations Director
Samantha has always had a passion for seniors. As a young child she would rather visit with Suede, the 80-year-old widow across the street, than play with the neighborhood kids. Suede taught Samantha to play piano and string buttons. Harvesting vegetables from her garden and sharing vanilla ice cream with Suede are very fond memories. Samantha has held leadership roles with some of the most well-known and respected names in Senior Living. She brings over 20 years of senior living sales & marketing experience including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Among Samantha’s many achievements, she is very proud to have had the ability to improve the overall experiences at over 49 communities while serving and increasing satisfaction for over 6,515 residents and families during her career. She has trained and supported over 1,470 employees and empowered them in their positions. Samantha has 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren but her bulldog Bella is her newest “Baby” and she enjoys spoiling her.
